HARRELL  Y  STENTS WITH POSTS

The Harrell Y Stent*, designed with James H. Harrell II, M.D., allows physicians to address airway complications such as anastomosis and stenosis. The stent may also be used to minimize chronic bronchial strictures due to tuberculosis and malignancies. The posts help prevent migration of the stent after placement. Inserted endoscopically, the specially designed bifurcated tracheobronchial tube fits snugly into the distal trachea, the carina and the proximal bronchi.

Fabricated of flexible, biocompatible implant-grade silicone, the Harrell Y Stent allows humidification and phonation.
